I highly doubt a 231 is ever going to see 35+ MPG, regardless of how light or aerodynamic the package it's in is.

That's got one two many zeros in the price. I picked up a Bradley GT, with the body still on and in better shape, for $150. I used it as an outdoor Christmas ornament. When I was done with it, I donated it to a couple younger guys who swore they were going to make a LeMons racer out of it...I need to look them up and see what ever happened with it.
