1996 Roadmaster. Needs a headgasket apparently, $600 seems like a pretty good price for this drivetrain.

Ummm, your profile says "Germany" Isn't everything here gonna be far away?

They were not. There was a wagon, the "estate wagon," and a four door sedan. Both were based in the B-body platform, but I think the power train varied between the body styles for certain years.
He says "exhaust pipe"; LT1 cars with a single exhaust are the short-lived 4.3 V8. Dual exhausts were on the 5.7. So beware that.
Pictures show dual exhaust, so it should be the 5.7.
Worst case is the 305, but I don't think they offered it in the 1995 model

I believe you are correct. I think the Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac-flavor cars were all V8s. Actually, it might have been just the Caprice sedans now that I think about it.
the only non 350 roadmasters are 1991, where 305 was an option. i had a 1991 305 wagon
all 92-96 cars are 350. 92-93 TBI 94-96 LT1.
4.3 v8 is caprice only.
wagon front end is essentially caprice with different bumper cover and grill. same hood and fenders, lights.
sedan front end is completely different, and i've seen a couple wagons with the swap done. i don't think the sedan squared off front end works well with the rounded back of the wagon.
they ride like you're on a cloud floating down the road, and everyone should experience the comfort at least once before they die.
