Very correct.

That's the one I was talking about! If I didn't have the CSX, it would have been gone already.

There is far too much awesome in the pic for me to process all at once.
holy crap. that car was for sale 2 summers ago in Plainfield NH for the same price. I went and looked at it and passed on it even though it was pretty solid. About a month after I looked at it, it showed up at the parts store I used to work at and I think the guy that bought it lived up the road from me maybe a quarter mile or so.

The NH car is more than 2+ times higher in price then what I paid for the PA car. And I am still doing the happy dance every time I look at it.
The lower control arms are the same items as this ebay auction..

Anyone have a torque arm? I have 4 original stamped steel torque arms. I'd like to locate or fab something more substantial.
I'd like to see a Trans Am shaker scoop through the hood to go with the "Formula" appearance
Thumbs up on this car

Highly likely in the future.

As I consider the glorious future that this car is sure to have, I started to imagine those hypothetical scoops. It occurred to me that early Formula scoops would work on the Astre, while '78ish scoops would be the best choice for the Sunbird.

Right idea. Like to find something lower priced. Found one local for $40

Yup
I ordered this Spyder in 80 when my DD 68 Camaro was stolen. Right after receiving it I took it to my parents house so my dad could see it and then promptly removed the Hot Wheels looking stickers about 10 minutes after this pic was taken. 1st ex wife got it as a consolation prize when I divorced her. Wheel tubs are needed if you want to fit decent size tires on them.

I like the Trans Am shaker scoop. Although the Formula scoops are cool also in my opinion.
