If everything goes according to plan, I'll have this things back legal tomorrow!!! Not having driven it since October has really been disappointing to say the least! Now to see how much better it runs with that restrictive VAF deleted and a good tune on Megasquirt....
Tomorrow is the day!!! Finally got my title back from the DMV, and ready for the DMV to check it out and Finally have it legal again!!!
Update: Its finally legal and back on the streets after a 4 month hiadus.
Next will be to get the car tuned and get some bigger wheel/tires combo to help put the newfound power to the ground. I'll post my current VE Table if any of you would be interested in takin a peek at it. ~5200-5500 it seems to fall off. Not sure if the Valve Springs are weak (Notorious problem with these cars) or its my tune. Air Flow Meter is gone, and I replaced my BOV with an HKS SSQV.
Hey duder lemme get that BOV back when we pick up the other MX3. Gonna put it on mndsm's car.
When you say it's "falling off" at 5200-5500, can you feel it in the seat of your pants? Or are you just seeing it falling off on your VE tables?
Either way, i'm thinking it's just your relatively small turbo on a motor that doesn't breathe up top. You don't FEEL it on my car because it's got a bigger turbo that just powers through (and probably overwhelms the motor), but i guarantee you'll see it fall off in datalogging.
How much boost are you pushing?
That bov is still on my car, gotta find a pipe to replace it with first.
What diameter pipe do you need? I think i have a pipe with an SSQV seat. Probably 2.5". I'll dig it up tonite.
This reminds me.... Dan my pipe is 3" diameter... so not real useful to any of us running an F2.
Got my piece enroute from a friend ;-) txt me an address Ben and when I get it installed, I'll send your that BOV.

Wait, what BOV are we putting on my car?
I have the injectors you were looking for sitting in my truck. I am REALLY BAD at sending stuff out.
I will let you know when it ships.
Sorry!

What's interfering? The core or a pipe?
The routing of the piping :-/
Is it re-routable? Going w2a seems like the most complicated solution to the problem.
Space is very limited & it would also lessen the 10-12 feet on intercooler piping while reducing the chance for boost leaks... I'll look and see if/how it can be rerouted again and post pics this afternoon.

Anyone here have any input???
This might sound dumb... but have you noticed a boost level where this happens? Say... if you only run 7psi does it still happen?
Or is it just rpm based? I'm wondering if we're looking at a pneumatic issue and not a tuning issue.
But... it didn't really seem to be that bad when it was on the stock ecu. If it's this frustrating to me... I can only imagine it for you.
Frusterating is an understatement... It does seem to stop when you go back to ~10. It'll free rev to redline with no issue.
Ignition Timing? I assume you aren't running out of fuel (duty cycle over 95-98%)?
