Called your dude, said he would have to see it, so I'm going to try to get by there one day next week.
Looking around at the net it looks like the style they make up for 4x4's with the telescopic shafts would work great and not be hard to adapt.
Hub adapters came in today and are nice but they put the wrong studs in it :( Easy fix but attention to details is important and they dropped the ball on that detail
Will try to get out there and snap some pics tonight.
Ok good news! The adapter company must of knew they messed up cause yesterday another box showed up with a set of adapters in it and this time they had the right studs! So I was able to bolt the rear wheels on and set it on the wheels for the 1st time.
.
She needs so go down a little, will fix that when I make the new upper shock mounts for the back
If you have to run adapters get these guys to make them for you.
Hub centric on both sides so no wobble and lifetime warranty.

Those are some of my favorite wheels. Looking good!
Ok I haven't done much more as I have been talking to driveshaft people...Well I have decided that the fiat stuff is just to out of date and with as much time as I have put in to her I want her to be fast too.
So sticking with Toyota power this time I'm going to get a 3sge blacktop and 6 speed from an altezza :)
210hp at 7,600rpms sounds like it will move the tercel well!
It's going to be a little more work but I think the end product will be at least twice as good as it would have been.
Stay tuned I am selling off cars and parts to order the new drivetrain.
If anyone needs some fiat parts let me know!

Wisdom comes from experience. Experience comes from a lack of wisdom.
Told ya that damn guibo was going to be a bitch.
No shame in learning from where you have been.

The rear suspension setup is beautifully done. Lovely piece of fabrication there. Overall, the whole thing looks fantastic.
Well change of plans again...
I came across a deal I couldn't pass up.
I just got an 1984 sr5 Corolla coupe with the 4ac, but it came with a fresh rebuilt 3tc!
As much as I would of liked to do a beams engine for what I got in this deal I couldn't pass it up!
Going to sorce another trans and get back to the build soon! In the meantime I'm going to get the ae86 on the road. Stay tuned I'll make a video update here soon!
A fine choice, Sir! A 3TC plain out-cools damn near anything.
Ok so let me get this straight. The drive shaft is 7" short and the shop can't cut the ends off and weld them to a 7" longer shaft? I thought Hospitals were good at revenue building but that shop sounds down right greedy. Sheesh kind of lost me with the going with a different motor. I understand the reasoning but I also know the motor you have is only 8:1 compression. Get a Ebay special turbo kit for $599 and you can have 160-175hp without much fuss. Block will hold it no problem just make sure to change the timing belt often.
In reply to brad131a4:
Well it's a foot short, and it needs a new end on the diff side as I am running an rx7 rear axle.
The main problem is no one seems to be be able to balance this fiat shaft and I really don't like the two piece design, and that rubber guibo thing is just funky lol
Been looking into these 3tc and turbo is in the plans! I'm going to try to build and tune a megasquirt set up.
I'm a little weary of those cheap eBay setups thinking I may be better off with a oem turbo off something maybe a wrx or ?
Any of you have any experience with eBay turbo stuff?
3tc is an awesome engine. Mine with 13:1 compression and open headers was beastly.
Hey, Lomax, I'm in Middle TN, and have a DSM turbo that was well cared for that I have no need for. Aren't you in North Carolina? Ninja edit. redundancy.
Yup. Hes about an hour from me.
Yes sir I'm over in the Sandhills of nc. Sounds like the perfect match for what I want to do what you need for it shipped to 27376?

I guess email me if you would please

In reply to Lamaxmotorsports; I can't seem to get that to work, either. Try PMing me. I just updated my email and such.
Ok missed the part with the different rear end. Guibo is all that bad just a little extra cushioning on the rear end. Alfas use them as well and have no problems in higher hp applications. You are correct in that fiat drivelines are hard to balance. Heck they will vibrate if you don't put them back in the same as when you pulled it.
The turbo's on the kit's are about the only thing I'd question for reliability. I know you can get KO3's from vw and audi 1.8t for $50 that still have a lot of life still in them.
That would really help with the low to mid range as the fiat doesn't really get going till 3500 rpm anyways. Just a easy way to get all the tubing, fmic and associated pieces all at one time instead of piece meling it all together. That or look at Low Bugget at there blow threw turbo set up. Don't even need to change the fuel pump as they are running a carb so pressure is still low. they are getting 200hp from their bug motors with good reliability as well.
Just food for thought. I've looked at a few motor swaps for my 124 and can spend less just by adding a turbo to the stock motor and get 3/4 of the hp of what I'd be swapping in.
Which ever way you go it will still be a blast to drive.
In reply to brad131a4:
Yeah fiat motor is coming out
Toyota 3tc going in
Will save the fiat for something else I got in mind unless someone wants to come buy the stuff
Things are coming along went to the pull it yourself yard today and picked up some goodies to help with the EFI
Jeep 4.0 tb with sensors
Neon coil pack and fuse/relay box
Honda fuel rail
Volvo fuel rail w/320cc injectors
And got this exhaust manifold from a focus
Also just ordered my ECM and stuff from diyautotune. After consulting with them I decided to go with the microsquirt v3 which is basically a megasquirt2 that is prebuilt and uses an external map sensor and already has boost control and launch control built in! I added on a wideband o2 sensor so I will have what I need to tune it.
I'm excited about this but it was most of my budget for parts to get this system ordered so I'm a little nervous not having spent this much money on a single thing in a car for a long time but feel it's time for me to learn efi as the performance possibilities are endless.
Little video update for those that are into that kind of stuff.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Well I got the fiat stuff pulled out and I started test fitting the 3tc and it looks like it's going to fit great!
Wheelsmithy played the part of Santa this year dropping off this td05 turbo on his way through!
Was great to meet a forum member and do a little live chatting in the shop!
Well that's all for now I hope to get some time this week to do some real work on her as I have a ton of parts showing up the next couple of weeks!
Purdy! I was thinking about your intake. Have you considered modifying the stock 3TC unit to take injectors and just making an adaptor to fit a throttle body to it? Should be OK for boost, or do you need more volume?
In reply to wheelsmithy:
I'm thinking it's going to be easier to make one, I guess we will
Find out in the next few weeks when my flanges get here.
