Swank Force One has access to my old KLZE swapped MX-3 if anyone is interested in saving one of these.

I'll find out. I'm pretty fortunate in that my sweetie owns an aviation business, and is even more obsessed than I am with cars. He just sends off the car parts whenever he has a big work order to fill.

In reply to JamesMcD: The plating process that we used is QQ-P-416 Type 2 Class II. This is the spec used for typical aircraft hardware. Small hardware is typically barrel plated, which is fairly economical. Big parts have to be individually racked which is a lot more work so more expensive. If you are just getting barrel plating done you are likely to run into whatever the shop's minimum charge is (maybe $150?).
