Dude, your ideas are berkeleying brilliant!  If someone got 2 Ford Barra DOHC inline 6 heads from Australia,  they could build a 60 degree DOHC V-12.  Just need a custom machined block and crank.

Yeah it could be done fairly easy actually

Got the engine pulled out of the excursion and on the stand, I'm gonna get it in the nova and on the dyno for a base line. I really want to see what the gains are with the heads. I have the youtube channel up and going so people could follow there if they like. Oh and almost forgot the forced induction delivery device is on its way.

OP, This is awesome to see. I made an account just to post on this thread. This is an idea a friend and I toyed with recently. I have a bunch of 4v parts and heads. I have a late model year set of heads with a few cam lobes with minor damage id be happy to donate if you were looking to use them to piece together a prototype. This is something I'd love to see happen!

Seems to me if you are going with a supercharger, the SOHC will be just fine.

Making an aluminum V10 block would be nice.   But why V10, all that work I'd go to a V12.

Of course, if you want to go to the Moon, start with being able to orbit the Earth.  :)

Re-starting discussion on this post for those that are still interested in this kind of build.

Not sure were OP currently is, looks like he decided to stay with the 2V? frown

Just posted a video on our build. Already started the process of cutting the heads and we're on the welding stages. Looking forward to the progress!
