Yes.  The Fairmont made 936 when we stopped making pulls (at 25 psi boost) because of fueling issues.  That's around 1075 crank.

The 1010 RWHP in the Nova would be 1160-1190 crank. Not too shabby for 328 CI.

So let me see...........my 5.3 is rated at 290 HP............1160/290= 4 !!!!   I have some ways to go yet.......

I think 1160/328 is a tad more interesting.

With no dome pressure... just pure gate spring... and spinning in the 60'.....  which left about 275 HP in reserve....

When the video comes out the Gs of acceleration are fun to watch.  The last run was a handful but we don't have any in car shot for it.  We have a ways to go before we throw any dome pressure at it. 

This is the in car of the 8.75 pass made before the 8.62 pass.

That car has almost 10x the horsepower of my Jetta.  

What's the story with the reaction time in those videos?
