I was lifting my build table yesterday for effectively the same purpose...

Your new trailer looks pretty sweet!
Considering that this aluminum was interior door skin, trash picked from behind an enclosed trailer dealer; I'll allow it.
Locked down the location of the first piece of floor, then made front section.
Drilled a few locators thru these panels and took them back off for now.
Added a gazillion tabs to the chassis. Body mounts, seat belt anchors, panel tabs, etc.
Bob went dumpster diving after a Magnaflow box.
Pretty decent haul which should be quite useful
Feeling the heat of both Dan and Robbie's threads at the top of the forum.... I snuck 1.5hrs in the shop this evening and mounted the windshield. I need to do more during the week because this is 1.5hrs less that needs done on Friday, but it's tough while running taxi service for multiple extracurriculars every night.
No pic because I suck. 2mos till Challenge.

Hours make days, days make months.
Keep on it!
I did not really plan to make it to the challenge this year... mostly for same reasons as last year. But if this does make it, I gots ta come see it!
p. s. need more pit crew?

Only 2 of these builds seem likely to be "done".....
Windshield. There is still some residual tear-off residue, but getting better
Today, we turned a corner
Now entering the assembly phase.
*crosses fingers that I didn't forget too many tabs*
Wait a minute, I missed where the windshield came from. Taken off a Grand-Am race car? The Powered By Ford banner looks very official.
In reply to slowbird :
You didn't miss it, you simply forgot about it because this build is taking so long!

I like the authentic-looking Powered By Ford windshield banner. Where did you source that?

There may or may not be more parts from the same source which make their way to the Challenge
In reply to Mr_Asa :
Hopefully less than 2 months!
In reply to gumby :
Ah-ha! lol
I knew that looked like a Daytona Prototype-era banner. Just couldn't figure out which one had a windshield that shape...naturally it's from one of the early ones, before they made the roof a bit smaller
