When the sun hits the leather dash it reflects a lot. So I am going to fix that. Made a template today from poster board. Using it as a pattern to cut out some non-reflective grey fuzzy something... will look around for something I like Monday. Any ideas?

Felt? Suede or alcantara if you want something nicer.

Quick search tells me that there are products out there that would give you a less reflective surface on the leather you already have.
The rear of the car had damage when I go it. Finally having time to fix some minor things.
A little different design, but its fixed. Now to do the other side to match.

Paging David Wallens...come in David Wallens.
I see feature material here!
Took the car on a 2200 mile trip to Van Nyes Calif to see family and a car show.
2200 miles? I bet you got a lot more pics than that of it posed in front of cool scenes.
Stopped at, well you can see where....just to see it.
^i almost did not see the person in that picture. Is he a ninja?
Every time I read this thread I'm overcome by the urge to wear a white shirt, pink pants and a that blue color hat and shoes. This is why I can't have nice things. I would ruin them by being over the top.
This is such a cool car.
I still can't decide if I love or hate the paint....but man I love me some Consulier GTP. Awesome ride.

Dude...there are closer car shows. No need to drive that far to see one.
And I love this car. Kudos.
So true, but family visit was in there also. My Dads 83rd birthday party. AND I also got a tour of JPL. I am also planning to go to Carlisle PA in July with the car.

There is something generally appealing in the fact that you have a rare older vehicle and readily put thousands upon thousands of miles on it. Bravo!
While I somewhat understand garage queens that perpetually never come out (dust on the road, too sunny outside, etc) it pains me that those owners miss out on the thrill and enjoyment of driving such a vehicle. It's not my style but I guess knowing that it's there in storage or getting to look at it once in a while is enough.
My parts are here for my update of the clutch. Includes this lightened flywheel.
