Finished welding the roll bar.
It's been quite a while since I've been able to work on the speedster! Finally back to paint prep, now that golf season is over and my more pressing projects are behind me. Most of the toys are back in the garage, but since all I'm doing is sanding, there isn't any progress to show.
That is quite the impressive Toybox.
I don't mind sanding bodywork; its the dust-bomb mess that coats the garage that I cant abide.
So good to see this back on page one.
I am guessing covers for the rest of the cars are planned before more sanding takes place?

I am really looking forward to putting that behind me! Luckily most of the sanding that's left is just eliminating scratches. Most of the shaping is done.
Progress is a little slow due to space restrictions, but the second coat of high build primer is on the side panels, they have been sanded and are ready for primer sealer. The front and rear clam shells are next when I can make some space.
Surprisingly nice day in northeast Ohio! Got the other cars out and was able to shoot the second round of polyester primer!
Looks the same, but much better! Fully sanded with 320. Found a couple of spots that need work, but very close to being ready for sealer. Thanks to my buddy Mike for the free labor !

I almost missed "Lotus Euroadster"! I've been trying to decide what to call it, and missed that one. I'm going to have to steal that one from you! "Euroadster" for the win! Thanks!
