Absolutely love this build! It's giving me bad ideas about the various axles and engines I have lying around...

Do it...
I love this build so much, but I gotta admit, I'm not sure I love the blue of the arms and whatnot. Is that going to stay that color? Is the rest of the body going to stay unpainted?
In reply to Mr_Asa :
Most of the rest of the body will be an off white/eggshell color with the front grill surround matching the blue of the suspension. The idea is that white with blue stripes was the "official" racing color scheme of the United States back in the 20s and 30s but stripes on this car will look not right to me. So red wheels and seat, blue suspension and grill surround (and maybe roll bar) over a white body.
Ok, I can see that a bit better. Just getting the blue in place while its easy, sure.
Maybe blue pin striping, instead of full striping?

I'll have to do something with the windshield frame I haven't made yet too so it may end up blue as well.

Wouldn't be much point, it's gearing limited to 110 or 115mph depending on how much you want to push the engine.

A large format black and white camera taking a picture of that car at Bonneville would be real cool.
Especially if you were wearing goggles, a leather helmet, and a jaunty scarf while driving it.

You don't have to run it. Guarantee you'll get quite a crowd just by showing up. It's got that wonderful Lakes roadster vibe going on.
