Ordered univeral fender flares for my LS400. Will probably need to cut 2-3 inches up on the front fenders.

Lost 175.75 lbs tonight that I could weight, my super accurate scale only goes to 30 lbs. I expect that number to triple before I am finished. Everything is neatly organized to go back in when I get home from the event.
I'm sure Lexus owners really use these tool kits hard.

I'm beginning to think that myself. I think top ten for sure. Lets see what he does with the rest of his budget. I know pimpm3 is some where thinking up a way to get ahead of willrunifchased.

They do provide a first aid kit under the drivers seat. That should help heal all wounds occurred during use of the tool kit.
Things that could be done to go faster shift kit, megasquirt, rewire the whole car just for basics, fresh hoosiers, replace glass, second set of wheels tires for drag racing, bigger fuel pump and 250+ shot of nitrous. That could all easily be accomplished within the $2015 budget. Maybe next year.
First step will be seeing how legitimate of an autocross car it can be this year.
I believe that this will be the first year a Lexus has entered The Challenge (and there are multiple Lexus entered.)
I predict it will not be the last year.

I'm not too confident installing a shift kit for the first time. Maybe I'll recruit some help to install in the parking lot.
I'm down to help with that, but I'm just as inexperienced as you. Filter and fuild change is the extent of my automatic transmission work experience.

Filmed from the wheel well of a truck, I wish that bump wasn't in my parking lot. There are too many trucks this time of the year to miss.

The nice thing about this parking lot there is no chance of traffic or getting in trouble and it will be more open in October once the fleet of rental trucks disappear. Maybe I'll even get consecutive days off of work then.
I should have found wider wheels. I don't think I need the flares for the rear.

Adjusted for more appropiate race height. The rear 275s fit with just a roll, probably will just try to cut the fronts clean enough to not use the flares. We were joking around about getting lug adapters and running the 335's 18x12/13 CCW's from my widebody camaro in the rear with flares all around. Along with the 17x10.5 mustang wheels upfront.
On another note the car is down 398.61 lbs so far. The driver seat weights 65lbs and is still in the car, not sure I'll have time to get a different seat in.
I'm currently at $1660 without selling anything. Not sure what else I really want to do to the car. Shift kit and drag radials maybe? I really need to find more time.
Carpet cleaned up pretty well with the pressure washer.
Are you going to get stiffer springs for the coilovers? I vote for a shift kit. Any shake down testing planned?

I have not changed out for stiffer springs. I plan to get out at least one of the next two weekends. Probably will order the shift kit. Scheduled myself off every Friday in October to hopefully make some extra progress.
