Will do. I think he'll be excited.
As a bit of a post script to this, Rufus is being driven daily and living an adventurous life. Hard to feel bad about any of this.

(Resurrecting this post from the dead) I'm super interested in buying / making a BBR turbo RF. If it's not a total intrusion on privacy, could I ask you to send me the contact info of the person you sold Rufus to? Would like to know if he's interested in selling!

Keith is probably the guy you want to talk to
I can certainly ask the current owner if he is interested in selling, but I won't share contact info without permission.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
When he mentioned making one, figured you could take care of the details on what it took to build it
In reply to Keith Tanner :
That would be very much appreciated! Jeremy from FM has my contact info - I was asking about Rufus via email last week.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Hey Keith, following up here to see if Rufus' owner was interested in selling
In reply to Pugnacious :
If you want to drop me a message either through the forum or ttwo.elm at gmail.com I can get you the contact info of the current owner. He says he'd love to talk.
Welp, the bad news is that Rufus was out of my price range. The good news is that I found a 2018 that has all the good FM ND parts thrown at it for sale in CO Springs - bought it same day I drove it. The BBR kit is sublime, and I'm a convert.
Keith - previous owner tells me that Pikes Peak Racing in the Springs collaborated with FM to do the build. It's fantastic!
