Don't know what is wrong, I have triple checked this, but it won't allow me to click on the description of the ad.
It's a 78 Buick Century Limited (top of line) 2 door FASTBACK, with supposedly 135K miles for under $4K.
That body was also available as the Cutlass Salon. My significantly older sister had the near identical brown 2 door except hers had bucket seats.

So homely it's cute...except it's just homely
The real rare Buick version would be the turbo coupe version...
Man, can you imagine how hard it must to be to find back-half parts for those?
Who was looking for a 10K CAM car? Truck LS+circle track suspension parts+tires should do the thing for $6500
Thanks folks for " fixing " the link I provided, tho I still have no idea what was wrong.
If I had been seriously looking for one of these I would probably look for an Olds version or a Buick version with the V6.
The bright red velour really caught my eye.
There's a certain appeal to these in my eyes. They're kind of like the similar era AMC Spirit hatchbacks like the '78 AMX. I like the Spirit more though, for reasons I cannot fully explain, although partially because the Spirit got a real hatch instead of a trunk lid doing an impression of a mail slot.
Are those RWD? They look like a citation, which is definitely FWD.
That's hideous, and I like amc eagles and b210s which most think are hideous.
I mean......I'd buy it for $350 and take it to a challenge for giggles but pay good money for it? No

Yes, RWD.
Let Tony tell you all about it.

It's the ugly ones that give you the best ride.

... like they don't know when the next ride will be.

Maybe because they don't look like they went from cocktail napkin sketch to production in about a week?

Paint the blue one the brown color and that's what my parents had when I was in high school. Spent a lot of time putting that thing sideways in the snow, I did.
They sold it to their mechanic who kept it going for years. I think it was finally taken down by terminal rust in the mid-90s.
Had a 4 door Cutlass Salon years ago. I saw an ad for the Century a day or two ago, and considered it, as I liked the 2 doors a lot better. The vinyl top scares me, though. Seems like they promote hidden rust, even if it is not in an area that salts the roads heavily.

But do you pay good money to get that ride when adequate ones or better are available?

Even though it is pretty much a sticker package, I’d really like a 442 from that era.
In reply to eastsideTim :
My neighbor has a nice 77(I think) 442 he's had since high school(probably early-80's) that he's said w couple times he wants to sell. I've not crawled around/under it, but looking at it in his garage it's really nice. No idea on price, but looking online I'm not sure the nicest one in existence would bring $20k.

Damn that looks nice. It's a Colonnade car instead of the later downsized cars, but I still like those, too.

I have literally never seen one of those.
They weren't exactly popular, even when new. The four doors also had the dubious feature of the rear door windows not being able to roll down. The rear quarter windows popped out instead.
