I'm putting my Exocet up for sale. It's one of the early race versions, with the MkII body work. Since I initially purchased this, my career is changing, the kids are getting older & I'm trying to spend more time with them, and I'm more involved with WRL & CCES. This is a perfect start for someone that wants to dial in their own car without having to do all of the work. I'll put up pictures later, but here are the specifics:
2001 SE donor with SE brakes
VVT motor, new seals, motor mounts
Megasquirt with VVT controller
Fidanza aluminum flywheel with ACT clutch & flywheel
New calipers & rotors on the SE brakes, with Hawk pads
ARP wheel studs
Wiring harness stripped down to engine with lights & turn signals, headlights/taillights/turn signals mounted.
Brand new NAPA battery, Legend series
949 Racing 15" x 9" wheels, no tires, plus 16" factory twisted spoke wheels
Raceland header, no cat, full exhaust with muffler
New master cylinders & slave cylinder
The suspension is stock, and I've just got a driver's seat installed at the moment. Figure this is someone's opportunity to take a great car, slap on the suspension and seats that they want and go racing/track days/messing with folks on the street.
Can't think of what else. Really afraid to start digging through receipts and see what all I've spent on this thing. I'd like to get $17k on this, open to offers. I'm located in Chatsworth, GA, approximately 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta. Might be tempted by a good comfortable GT type car, something good for long trips, as a partial trade. G37 coupe for example.
