1991 Alfa Romeo Spider
The last version of the classic Alfa Spider. It's a great rust-free Colorado car that has higher miles and isn't perfect, but the price is on the lower end of the scale – so you can buy it, and just enjoy it, or upgrade as you go and the values are poised to go up as well, so it could be a good investment.
It is supposed to have an Alfa reman engine, but PO can't find paperwork, so take that for what it's worth. The bushings could use replacement, but it's not as bad as most Spiders I drive. 2nd gear will crunch if you speed shift when cold, but it's fine if you go slow and when warmed up. There is some clear coat peeling and dings in the paint, but not bad.
No rust – for an Alfa that's big, and worth as much as the purchase price in repairs if you buy a rusty one. It has a new canvas top – again, worth a few thousand dollars at least if you price one out with installation.
It needs some minor TLC, but is a great driving car you can do a rolling restoration to if you want.
