Edit: it's a twin cam, not an S2. The first picture makes the sail panels look bigger.

I started down this path with my 73 Twin Cam, but sold it all prior to our move. At this point a Gordini powered S2 seems like a better way to enjoy a Europa with out having to re-engineer nearly everything.

Pete, I thought of you when I posted this ad and I agree. If you can find a running, or ran when parked and complete car - that's a way better way to get into the driving part of enjoyment.
Of the Europas still in existence, I wonder how many are unfinished projects? I guess, being a Lotus - there's only a finite time when it might not be considered a project.

I think you'd also have to define "existence" to answer that question. If you're including anything from a rotted body to a complete car, I'd be really surprised if 15% of them run & drive.
