Today I did something I've not done in months.

Worked on my GT6.

It felt so good to spend a little time with her.

(No power at work so I was sent home... What to do what to do???)

Installed the oil cooler. Did an oil change which was long over due. Just running GTX 20w50 and a fram since I will do a winter oil change in Oct. New GasketWorks valve cover gasket. Very cool silicon stuff. And then put in a newer fuel pump. The old points SU was leaking too much.

Then I went for a quick blast. It felt great. Its simply been too long since the two of us have spent time together. Yes I know sounds stupid, but I was really worried I'd lost interest in the GT6.

Nope. My faithful friend was simply waiting for me.

I think she has always been there, waiting for a friendly tickle. Canoe floats by to ruin the moment. If the old lady is receptive take her out and give her a good spankin.

I had the same expirence too. Now that my race seasons over for the summer, I polished up my old '65 AH 3000 MK III and took it to the local concours show last weekend. Wouldn't you know with the luck I've had with our crazy "summer weather" it rain hard, really hard.

Not yet. Needs fresh gear oil, but I am thinking I'll make my first Triumph meeting in months next week.
