I saw one similar to this in Melbourne a couple of years ago. It was done to a very high standard but was running a Jaguar straight six which looked right at home. If memory serves me correct it was for sale for about a third of what the ask is on this one.
Also I got a lot of respect for some of the Aussie builds, they were commited.

Anyone who had a an Aston in the day, put an XK engine in as they were terrible engines..
