Today my Mazda tossed a CEL at me. Goes to the shop in the AM. I can't wait too see what they find.

For that matter I wonder what the GT6 will do to spite me for my latest purchase.

Do your cars get "jealous?"

When I bought the GT6 my cavalier lost her water pump...

Andre - I don't think the Cavalier was jealous...it was just being itself... Now...the GT6 vs. Fiat might be different, as each will try to outdo each other for your attention....

Oh yes. I've no doubt of the personalities of my cars.

My wife is convinced the Fiat will not let her drive it without something going wrong.

Too Funny!

Everytime I drive to my girls house something would break. The last time it was a head gasket. Once I had the "talk" with my cars, it all stopped. I think they just need to know that your not going to let some carbon based life form replace them! LOL

My cars don't get jealous, I think they conspire against the carbon life forms. They're like cats, smart, aloof and always in charge.

Something will crap out on the convertible the night before you know it's going to be a glorious day tomorrow. You'll be forced to spend the night with her coaxing and cajoling her into running again so you can enjoy the day together.

If you don't fall for it, decide to show her who's the boss, and take another car out for the day there's a good chance the car you're going to "cheat" with will suddenly be out of gas. No one at home will admit driving that car until it was empty and you know, deep down, that it's a conspiracy.

In the end, the cars win. They always do.

LOL! I know that you all are being cute, but really, they are only machines, a cool, clever, collection of parts. They break when things wear out, nothing more.

Remember when Herbie got jealous and went berzerk? Yeah, I have wondered.

I dated this girl and my Spitfire HATED her! The Spit would run like crap every time the girl would be around and then smooth out right after I dropped the girl off. I broke up her.

Mazda is forgiven.

It was a solenoid in the intake. She's running very nicely now. Lots of good smooth boost.

Andre,

You should make sure all of the electrics are out of the intake! I never had a car that ran well with suff in the intake! LOL

Yeah no kidding.

You'd think I'd know more, but its my daily driver with warranty... So I just mash the loud pedal and smile.

Still got a yr left on that, but wondering when my kids legs will be on my arm rest.

We're going to have to buy a bigger machine soon. Something that can tow, but its all because my boy is getting too tall. Yeah... That's it...

I hope not... I've been paying a lot of attention to the Spit 6 and the truck lately... so on Sat I spent some time on the '03 TDI daily driver... gave it a good interior vacuuming and cleaning... then a wash and wax. I have to say, it's nice to be driving a clean and shiney car again... and it still cleans up pretty well for 193K miles...
