The dealer I work at has a 1977 MGB that they are trying to sell and we're trying to figure out how to market this thing. Are there any MG specific forums out there?

This is a really good site (as mentioned by "oldtin")

They have both a buy, sell, trade, forum as well as a cars for sale section.
You might have the best luck with Craigslist though. A 1977 MGB is a tough sale to anyone knowledgeable about the marque due to the bumpers, interior, engine, ride height, weight, and emissions equipment. Most folks who know the cars and are looking for one will be after a chromed bumper version and one that falls below the emissions testing cut-off date.
Those looking on Craigslist might simply be looking for an MGB, those looking on MG Experience will be looking for the best example that they can find.
Regardless, luck ! !

Its been up on Craigslist for about a week or so so far and no luck. If it doesn't get any bites, it will probably go on Ebay.
What are they asking for it? In general, the best rubber bumper B in the world is maybe a $7K car. Typically, they seem to sell for $5K or less. Often a lot less.
There is a universal rule in the MG world when it comes to value:
"Your Gold is E36 M3 and my E36 M3 is gold."
Trust me...The MG Experience is a great place to go if you want help to keep your car on the road or get it there in the first place; you wont find a better bunch of guys, but it's the wrong place to be if you want to sell or get an idea of what a car is worth.
...And don't forget about Classic MG magazine. We're the only bimonthly magazine in North America dedicated to MGs. Check out our Facebook page.
All very true based on my experience. Also, it seems many MG owners are, well, "thrifty".
Don't be surprised if it doesn't sell terribly quickly.

SO true, and rather kind in your wording.
Around here, you pretty much have to give an MGB away to move it out of your yard. Seriously, the engines, pulled and hosed down will bring more money than a running/driving car.
Plus, Massachusetts values a basic mid-run MGB at over $31,000 and charges a tax of 6.25% of that, plus $25 per thousand. In addition to the $100 or so for title and registration fees.
Massachusetts uses the high NADA valuation as a guide. No complaining, no adjustments, no nothing. You file a grievance, you pay for the court time, you loose your money and time away from whatever. Sealed and dealed, You're f%cked in Massachusetts. I'm pretty sure that it now says that on the number plates.
Putting a totally FREE mid-run MGB on the road in Massachusetts is gonna run around $2,600.
Not worth it around here.
Lol TC! Being one of them I was trying to be nice
At least this example is in one running piece. Mine, not so much...

I dunno, I think old Land Rover owners make MG owners look like Scrooge McDuck.
"These replacement parts are crap. I replaced these swivel balls only 20 years ago and look at them now! Time to go get some new ones off the parts truck..."
