Who drops what they're doing to watch "Cars" when it on the tube? Personally, I never get tired of it!

I'm more than a little nervous about CARS 2. So many great original films are lessened by remakes. I will see the new film but I'm nervous.
I'll definitely be watching for a sequel to Cars. I was really surprised by how much I liked the first one.
The value of a Fiat 500 will again go up. It is amazing how the media can manipulate collector car values. Cheers Ron
I hope they don't beat it to death. I heard something about McQueen going Euro Racing... F1? I can just see that now... Mater eating S-Car-Go served by a apron wearing Citroen....
It appears to be way worse than that.... Watch the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFTfAdauCOo
Michael Caine replaced Paul Newman...
Oh well. It will be sucessful, they will sell a jillion dollars worth of toys, pajamas, lunch boxes, and other trinkets.

Yeah, I've got a bad feeling about this...
I share the fear, but Pixar has delivered in terms of new stories and the few sequels that they done. I feel they won't do a sequel if they can't the quality right.
I don't like what I see either, trailer wise. However, imagine the elevator pitch for just about ANY Pixar movie (a clown fish gets caught off the Barrier Reef, and put in a bowl at a dentist. The worry-wart single father sets out to rescue his son. Hijinks ensue) - it's hardly compelling until you see the story.
The first movie was so incredibly spot-on that I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until I see the new one.
I don't have kids, but I purchased CARS and absolutely love how they got even the smallest details correct.
