That is what I am talking about,...but if every switch in the enterior is going to go out I will end up with a race are type enterior, which for this project I want something my wife could drive too.

So will I have to hack together all the switch gear with nobs from Radio Shack. Like a bad 1970's scifi about the future?

'80's British electrics are definitely E36 M3. But if you search teh int3erw3b, you will find companies which supply switches for kit cars etc which are very similar to the OE stuff but made better. The various rocker switches in my J-H got upgraded to better stuff that way; Delta Motorsports had them all. At first glance it all looks stock.

The XJS/V8 swap works best if you spring for the highway geared differential. The V12 was meant to run at higher RPM than the average Chevy V8, therefore most cars came with a 3:54 rear axle but 2:88's were out there.

Neither of the current perspective buyers of my Bitter are interested in the GETRAG 265 that I bought to convert the car... I think I'd really like an XJS with a manual trans... and this is what they would have used with the V12. All you'd really need is a bellhousing...

I would say Jag, cuz they are just so damn beautiful. "Like a stripper under the spotlights of the stripclub...once out in the light of day things turn ugly" LOL For the record, I know nothing about strippers, Jags or the light of day

Actually, Jags (at least in stock form) are more like the hot woman who pulls you in, gets you hooked (ring on da finger) then turns out to be MUCH higher maintenance than you dreamed possible. But every morning you roll over and look at it/her and say to yourself 'Damn I guess I can overlook all that bad crap'.
