I have access to several different tires for the challenge.
What would be the fastest setup for the autocross / drag race. (205/50/15)
Hoosier SM6, Toyo RA1, Hankook Z214 C51, Original Star Specs
The R-Comps are all road race take offs and have a higher operating temp then the autocross version of the same tire. But an R comp is still probably faster right then old star spec right?
Whats the consensus?
If you run the R-comp slick and it rains you're berkeleyed. Star Specs are a safe choice for unknown weather conditions.
Any other input, I am not so worried about the rain more concerned with fastest option.
SM6>C51>RA1>Z1*
