Back of the steering wheel, using a modified motorcycle linkage?

I had a 4 speed column shift in a SAAB 96 so it could be done with just another shift arm. Maybe change to cables once you get thru the firewall. One problem would be hiding the shift rod inside the steering column cover.

Yeah! The button only requires wires. The pneumatics and hydraulics can be remote anywhere in/under the car. In my TR4 the clutch master is in the trunk with compressor, small reserve air tank

Man, the more I think about this thing the more I like it. Good thing I'm going out of town for the weekend and won't have time to think about it any more.

I hate to be the cynic, but while I think this is awesome from a novelty perspective, that price seems a bit steep for what is a 20 year old luxury mobile with a worn interior from an era when GM was not at its prime.

And for bonus lulz, you could drill out a factory console t bar shifter from some other gm, put in a center prndl stack (w body maybe) amd have it look effectively auto until you started moving the stalk the wrong direction. Hell, you could wire the button on the shifter forthe clutch....

Seeing that foot-actuated e-brake makes me think that one needs to be accurate with one's left foot when shifting

Ad says sale pending, buyer from OH. Who is it?

Is it weird that I am really liking that flower car posted by maschinenbau?

I'd really like to own this car. I'd enjoy the crap out of it just as it is.... but as with so many other awesome cars, there's just no money at the moment to snatch it up.

It's back.  Can't remember what it was bought for the first time (probably have a screenshot on my work computer) but I'm pretty sure it'll be sitting for a while at the current asking price of 19k surprise.

It was around 9-10k initially.  It moved to akron, where new owners wife didn't like it so he listed on CL a while back for 13500.  Now it's back at 19k.  Seems like it has been a solid investment for the middle guy.

2nd guy made out then.  I remember it was advertised at one point by first guy around 9k.  2nd guy i offered based on what he paid and got the whole "well i paid to ship it to ohio" deal.  Was ready to sell my impala for it.  I'm guessing 3rd guy isn't going to make out as well as the middle one.  It's a nice piece, but the b bodies aren't the last of the rwd v8 gm sedans anymore so the prices aren't as strong as they were.  It's hard to justify a wallowing 260hp 21-23 year old car when a g8 or new police caprice offers so much more bang for your dollar
