It's funny you said that, the cars registration was still in it and it is actually from an older area of town, that has gone down hill as of late.

Thanks John it has been a 5 month ordeal, but it has been totally worth it.
My wife was completely over the dirt...
The tractor thing I borrowed broke and I had to finish the demo by hand. Ughh!
I did the demo and all the dirt work. I had professionals put down the base, level everything and put down the pavers.
What made all this possible is that a different neighbor re-did their driveway last year. They wanted to go from 12x12 pavers to a mixed pattern. Their paver guy was going to charge them $1.00 a square foot to remove and dispose of their pavers. I offered to remove them for him if he gave me the pavers. He was excited given it would save him roughly $3,000.0.
So the next week and a half was spent moving 3,000 square feet of pavers one at a time across the street in my free time after work. Ughhh that was some hard work!
I wrote a post but it didn't actually make it to the board; the car is looking great and you've done good stuff on that interior. My only question at this time is what size Phone Dials are you going to eventually install on the car?
In reply to pres589 :
Phone dials would be cool! Given that I acquired the 18' inch 911 wheels I am going to run those. I may get some track tires for the stock 17's.
Installed the extended wheel studs, wheel spacers and 911 wheels.
Then I have her a quick wash. Ready for tomorrow morning's autocross...
The wheels look really good.
Are you planning on removing the front and rear black light trim things?
In reply to Slippery :
Yes, I still need to get a marker lens, the drivers side one is cracked pretty bad under the cover.
Next on my list is replacing the blown speakers. Also the rear shocks are pretty much shot.
In reply to jfryjfry :
I share your concern about rubbing, and brought the stock rears to the autocross. We shall see in about an hour.
Wheels do not rub! I need to get used to how the car turns. Unknown brake pads kind of suck.
I was 3rd fastest in my run group, not sure how I am in my class at the moment...
All finished, car did good with no hiccups. I won the stock class and ended up 9th overall out of 40 cars.
I was 2 seconds off FTD...
I'm guessing this car is long gone. What was the overall impression and experience? Did you make a few $K on the sale?
