I was outside my grandmas house giving my Mustang it's biannual warm up and drive around the block when this pulled up. My grandma lives in a senior citizen community and I thought it was cool seeing this guy drive around with his lady friend with the convertible red Mustang with white interior. Original owner and the car is bone stock except different battery and the chrome wheels. Gentleman turned out to be pretty cool guy. We talked Mustangs for a bit and then he went on his way. I know the car isn't that collectible but it is getting more and more rare seeing an unmolested fox nowadays.
Holy hell that's clean! Those cars are going to be worth so much money in 20 years, it's not even funny.
I was thinking a VW fox, still sweet though!
Very nice! I can't see that car not being worth something now and later in that shape. Bonus for a proper 5 speed!

Meaning it's not like it is a 69 Mach 1 or an old Detomaso Pantera but still cool
So that's what my interior is supposed to look like...
Love it or hate it, that car is worlds better than a 65-66 poontang convertible and a lot cheaper. A co-worker has an 86 vert that looks a lot like this car (same color and also a 5.0), only not as clean. And I can buy it cheap, cheap, cheap.
Sweet car.
How many years do you suppose it'll be until that car is rollilng across the Barrett Jackson block with the announcers crooning about how special it is?
That's a beautiful Foxbody!

I'd rock it. Room for the family. Three pedals. Lots of torques.
Will be valuable someday, just sell when the bubble peaks!

Whats so special about the VW fox's? I believe my friend has one manual trans with a rear main seal issue just sitting in his garage since 07. Decent shape too

Nothing at all.
Agreed.
Car looks fantastic. The first thing I look for when searching for orginality is the factory air box and the rubber cover over the distributor cap. Those always seemed to be the first things to go.
Wow, that thing looks like it just left the showroom floor. Awesome!
I'm picking up my '89 Mustang in April. I hope it's as clean as this one. Owner has it stored until then. Can't wait.

They're like B-chassis Audis but smaller and therefore more awesome.
Ask your friend what year it is and give him my e-mail address if he ever gets tired of looking at it.
Wow... just wow.. that car is in incredible condition.
And yes, that IS a collectible.
I think that may be the cleanest engine bay I have ever seen on any Fox Mustang.
Holy crap! It still has the rubber plug on the front of the intake manifold and the distributor boot! Those either fell out or crumbled due to the heat. That Fox is a true time capsule!
