I just need to get the slider bar reinserted and the slides to where they're supposed to be even. It's embarrassing that they shipped this new in box like this.

I had the same issue with my Wedge bracket. I was not impressed. It never worked great and I moved it on down the line at a small loss.

They've been sold to Corbeau, which makes me think less of Corbeau and apparently there's now a vacuum with regards to seat brackets for uncommon applications for recaro and sparco seats.

What did you go with as an alternative? As I have a recaro that I'm hoping to get situated in the Ford Econobox.

The towel bar ought to have a hole in each end to go on the pins in the track. Use one end to lever either track and move that track to match the other one. Then inserting the bar between the tracks should work.

Not Wedge brand but the concept is the same. Video in the ad.Amazon.com: Racewill Seat Slider , Dual Locking Rails Brackets Kit Compatible with Most Aftermarket Car Seat : Automotive

Does Planted have your application?

If Planted doesn't have your application, they will make one for you, provided they can get a car as a template for a few hours in Kirkland, WA (greater Seattle area.)

There are quite a few people far from Seattle who have gotten brackets made for new applications thanks to enthusiast online communities. There are lots of older and unusual vehicles in the Pacific NW, and the entire enthusiast community benefits in the end. You put out the call, and find someone willing to help. They go to Planted for mock-up, you get your bracket, and the application is added to the catalog for other owners down the road.

If pulling on that thread doesn't lead anywhere, feel free to PM me (I work in aftermarket automotive seating) and may have yet one more avenue for assistance.

I left it adjusted to my height for a while. Then swapped back to the stock seat.

I appreciate it GREATLY. Planted does have the application, as long as I look under MX3 (it's the same as the Ford Econobox as I'm literally swapping out a factory MX3 seat bracket and slider to install the Recaro. I will be ordering from them and I will also reach out to let them know that it's the same bracket for the Ford Econobox, 323 and Protege (as I've personally verified that fitment in my own vehicles).
