Back in high school, one of the coolest teachers I've ever known bought a first-gen CRX(when they were new) and started modding it, first Yokohama tires, then a turbo kit - which was all crazy stuff for the midwest in the mid-80's! Eventually he blew the engine & went back to stock.

Anyway, I was talking to his neighbor tonight. The guy still has the car(though it's completely rusted out) and apparently still has the blown motor with turbo kit intact. It sounds like there might be a chance he'd get rid of it. Is there much value in "vintage" Honda speed parts???

You can post on RedPepperRacing.com. It's a 1st Gen CRX site. There should be much interest. Unfortunately for the seller, 1st Gen CRX owners don't have a lot of money

if its the MUGEN kit, then yes, if its a homegrown kit, then no...

The MUGEN kits located the turbo behind the motor and tranny, and used a standard 4-1 race header with a spacer.

Versus a homegrown kit that usually uses a log style manifold.
