My pops is interested in an MRS, wants me to fly down and drive it back up, was hoping someone in the greater Monterey area could put eyes on it before I go and buy airfare or something.
EDIT: I was wrong to assume that the 'Monterey Car Company' was near Monterey.
It's in Bloomington, closer to San Bernardino.
So, yeah, nowhere near Monterey.

Ditto up here in WA, you'd think that convertibles would be more expensive in a spendier place with nicer weather.

It's cool, I was only off by a few hundred miles.
I'm about 5 miles away in Colton, CA. I'll be leaving town on Wednesday through the weekend, but get in touch via PM; I'll see if I can work something out tomorrow or next week. If by chance you fly in, look into flights to ONT; it's really close and often about the same price as to LAX.
San Bernardino is hardly a spendy place, hah.

I love my spyder. My turbo setup is for sale (i'm building a 2zzge turbo setup for it) , you should buy that and have a wicked little car for short money!
So, Mitchell was awesome enough to do some research...
He called and got no answer.
He even went by the address and there was nothing there, no sign for the business and no cars in evidence.
That seems super sketchy, I'm not even sure if there's a compelling possibility that these guys are on the level.
