In case it has not been done here, I wanted to thank Andy for holding the mini drag race seminar at The Challenge. There are a lot of drag race virgins at this event (Or at least close enough to wear white). Andy was nice enough to go over the basics, and answer our questions. My biggest was, "How do you know when the 1/4 mile is over? I'm used to seeing big orange cones."
It's my feeling that most of us are autocrossers and that a drag racing primer would be a good thing to have Every Year at The Challenge before we hit the track.
(You know, to help avoid collisions with the pristine right side of Miatas that are already mangled on the left side. Kidding. :)
