Tim or Tom can correct me if I am wrong, but can't we thank a Shelby for this madness called GRM anyway? If I remember correctly Tim sold his GT350H to start the magazine and always wanted another Shelby.
You are correct, sir. That was a '66... learned to drive stick in it, because tbh, it didn't care what gear you chose, or how hard you popped the clutch.

I just read the article and I have no idea what you are complaining about.

Just thought about a possibly cool twist on the write up - Is the reality as good as the memories? Really, this car should be far superior to that old one. But have the memories of that one made it better than it was, or is this one living up to the memories.
Nevermind, my patina always survives a respray.

Neither does the person who started this mess.

My uncle had a Volvo 245 wagon that was like that. It had a flywheel that was approximately 35% of the total mass of the car. Otherwise, it was exactly not like a Shelby Mustang in every way.
The new paint reminds me of celery. I like celery. I like the paint.

I think the Shelby is great....I really look forward to those articles.
even though I sort of liked the patina look....the car is still pretty berkeleying awesome after the body work and paint.
I don't know that I have ever seen a Shelby in that shade of green.
Patina shamina. The car was rusty and had a crappy repaint on it. The first repaint destroyed the real patina. IIRC, Tim already put a Roush 347 CI engine in it didn't he? I think the important thing is that Tim is going to drive this car, not lock it in a garage. I bet he will even let kids climb it and get infected with the car bug.
