Let's post up as many clones as possible. What are we asking about? Not the vehicles like DSM's or Plymouth/dodge neon, or that. I'm talking about cars (and I guess trucks....) that look identical, yet share absolute nothing as far manufacturing goes. To give you a for instance:
The Mitsubishi FTO
And the Pontiac sunfire
God damn pic of the sunfire won't work... Frustrating.
Anyways, post pics. Good luck trying.

Since the OP is into old Toyota's, how about this generation of Corolla liftback:
which bears more than a passing resemblance to the Volvo 1800ES:
Ford Puma
and the Fiat Coupe:
I wouldn't say twins separated at birth, but maybe siblings.
Here are some rather fabricated similarities.
Both have 4 tires and a roof
Toyota made a pretty good replica of the X1/9 right down to the three spoke wheels

That's hilarious! I can't believe they tried to pass that turd off as benz quality. Was it a joke?

In conjunction with a mid to late 70s Corolla, then you win.

They have kits that you can install on a 240 to make it look like a 62 gto
If it were a series 2 E-type it would be a closer comparison visually.
