I haven't seen it mentioned here yet...legendary engine builder Ed Pink has passed, at the age of 93. He started off in dry lakes racing, then became a name in drag racing, and ultimately built motors for NASCAR, Indy car and Can-Am. There aren't many of the old guard left - There's Ed Iskenderian and Don Garlits, but I can't think of any others.
23 years out of warranty. He did ok.
