Ive been to VIR for motorcycle races, and done a track day there, but as Im considering taking the wife to the IMSA race tomorrow I got to thinking about what it's like to be a spectator there.
Is it a track where you just find a set of bleachers and sit? Or should you bring a camping chair and find some shade in a corner you want to watch for a while?
Merch - do teams have merchandise for sale there or just the IMSA trailer with limited items? (Im really wanting a pfaff gt3 tee)
Are there any driver signing opportunities?
Just, please, educate me on what to expect should we make the 90 minute drive up tomorrow. Only thing really holding me back is the temps - about 90 tomorrow with almost no breeze.

I think it'd be a great one to go to with the wife. Very accessible to wonder down to the grid and everything. Should be plenty of vendors and sponsors and teams selling or giving away merch. Probably the tracks number 1 spectator event of the year. I believe there are shuttles that will run or bring bikes to cover the more ground yourself without having to walk the whole way.

Johndej sums it up pretty well although I haven't seen shuttles running before. Lots of good vantage points for viewing the action. Clean restrooms, food is pretty good for track food but I usually bring my own picnic. Expect a big, but not oppressively big, crowd.
