Man, who to root for this year? Between the new Haas cars, Kevin finally getting a chance at Renault and these rumors of Kimi being set for a great year it's going to be tough to decide.

I noticed the Australian GP is the same weekend as Sebring, so looking forward to going to the 12 hours at Sebring then getting home for a late night F1 kick-off

I'll always root for Kimi to put the screws to Seb. Haas will definitely be on my root list just to not be a back marker. I really want to see McLaren in the mix again, giving Ferrari and Mercedes a run for it. I'm in the minority in that I like Hammy and would love to see him grab another world title. I'm afraid RedBull has already beat themselves mentally because they don't feel their engine will be up to par.

Basically, I hope there's been enough catching up to prevent it being an automatic win for Mercedes. I'd like to see the championship end like this:

1) Hamilton, but at the last race with it being hard fought throughout the season. (No gimmies)
2) Kimi (although I would NOT be upset if he was in first)
3) One of the McLaren drivers. I'd prefer Button, but would be fine if it was Alonso

Haas to have racked up at least two podium finishes and somewhere between 4-6 for constructors.

DOH!! I forgot about Williams. I really like Massa and think he's much better than Ferrari ever gave him credit for. I'd be thrilled if he stayed in the mix, too.

Bah, I give up. Like most racing, I don't care too much who wins, as long as it's not boring.....

All I ask for is a good, hard race and some actual battles for position, preferably first. Watching high speed parade laps just blows, no matter what race series it is. I'd like to think Mercedes will have some company in victory lane this year.

I read on Facebook F1 group that Manor is going to have 4 drivers and rotating them in one seat depending on the region. Rossi with be in the America's, Stevens will be in Europe, and haryanto in Asia. Sounds like a silly season rumor, but at the same time Manor has one driver that is not the typical bringing a lot of cash. Still holding out hope that Rossi gets the ride.

Looks as though HAAS will be the only one raising the American Banner

It will always be tough for an American to break in when you have entire countries willing to bankroll their guys.

You're looking at the width of the rear bodywork. By making the car narrower, it reduces drag, helps the wing/diffuser work, etc. The challenge associated with it is having enough cooling for all of the components.

Seems to just be showing the different Aero package for the 2016 Ferrari Vs the 2015 package.

So 10 more days till we are due an announcement of the fate of the USGP. Given the fact that I've hear nothing good even through the unofficial channels that doesn't bode well. I'm trying to schedule my race weekends for the year.

I like the classic look of the Ferrari, and that Renault looks menacing.

Ok...I've been working too many races lately. I see a new race car and the first thing I look at is the location of the safety shut-offs and the recovery attachment points.

It didn't look like the Ferrari has an attach point for the recovery bar but you can see it better on pictures on motorsports.com site

Onboard the new W07 https://youtu.be/nEb74YYolBY Wondering why almost all of the cars are black on the bottom half. Hiding something? Saving money? Heat transfer? Seriously huge coincidence?

No surprises in liveries other than McLaren - which is a really odd choice of deep black. They really need to go back to papaya. The car also looks like the box an F1 car comes in.

I'm assuming Toro Rosso's livery will look exactly like Red Bull with a very subtle difference so that fans can't really tell which is which.

The paint scheme reminds me of the West McLarens from the late 90s.

I see quite a bit different... beginning @ the nose... the HAAS is less penile shaped, also the HAAS nose(top of nose) is rounded where the Ferrari is flatter... and then the top of the car at the rear upper mount of the front suspension the HAAS has some "aero" bump? then going back to the air inlet, the Ferrari appears to be only mounted to the rear cowl, while the HAAS has some "aero" splitters supporting the rear??

The wheels are the same... and the entire insides are more or less Ferrari, but there does appear to be differences in the bodies/chassis.....
