FWIW, I kept reading the thread title as "Getting rid of a dead cat".

Just for the hell of it I went on their website to see how my car stacked up... The quote was more than I would likely get at my local junkyard...
Then I decided to have some fun. I entered 2013 Tesla with under 50k miles on the clock no dents driving ect.. The offer was $540!! I looked at other high end cars in good shape... None more than $540 (that I saw)
So if anyone has a high end car that they are considering selling to them.. I will make a standing counter offer of $100 more than what they offer on the website.

I like this game... I'm gonna say: 96 Civic or 99 Protege. I'm guessing something boring, that he won't mind crushing.

It's just about the same procedure. Remove the tags and leave it out by the curb.

Even a V6 AWD GLS?!?
Great guess Slippy yet you'r ain't right.
It was a 1990 Dodge Daytona Shelby VNT. The body was perfect yet the drivers seat had a small tear. The tow truck seemed really excited. Oh well I got $300.
Truck driver was excited because he knew he could easily double his money on a car like that without doing any work on it.

Did you guys really think someone on GRM would do such a thing? Taurus is the correct answer.
This site could well give me a heart attack today!
New format, potentially crushing 90's Daytonas...
