Any Exocets going to be at PRI? DIYAutotune booth maybe? I know Indy is a hike from Atlanta.

Did you take any pictures of the white body work? Teasers?

No idea, I ordered through FM, Keith didn't give me a number. Does he usually? I expect it'll be set once he puts the order through to Exomotive.

We don't know the numbers, they're assigned by Exomotive.

As one of those lurkers, I just wanted to say that XP-5 looks tip top. I'll probably come bother you again tomorrow with more questions.

FWIW (regarding timing / chassis numbers), I ordered a Sport chassis plus wiring tray through Flyin' Miata on 10/7/14, and was informed by Kevin on 11/11/14 that mine is #110. I did not yet specify bodywork color(s), but was asked to have that in to them by early December to slot into Downing's production schedule. Guess I better make up my mind on that little detail .... !!!

Wow orders just keep coming in. I got into the cue Aug 22nd and I believe I'm chassy #101 or #102.

Downing must really be kicking ass if they are dishing out 100+ bodies in that short time!

When I was up there yesterday morning, they had four people working on Exocet bodywork.

Warren,

Is it possible to get all bodywork in one color with the exception of the instrument cover, and get that one piece in black instead? Also, any puvs of the production fenders available?

Thanks in advance.

Most likely we will be twins. My other color choice is illusion twisted tangerine for the powder. I liked it when I was at prismatic powders booth at SEMA. How long before you powdercoat, or are you ordering it coated?

Ordering it coated. Even with the wealth of large utilities we have here at work, my boss won't let me use the large ovens for personal jobs. I'm just greatful they let me use the small one.

I'm definitely behind you Greg. New baby is making getting out in the garage difficult at this point. My work schedule is nice so I should start knocking things out very quickly. I work a week on week off usually. That thing looks great. I won't be powdercoating as much. Not in my budget.

Where do you live? We gotta get the two cars together after yours is finished.

Starting to realize that the COT wing may be a lost cause. I believe this one will fit: http://www.meganracing.com/products/product_detail.asp?prodid=610&catid=57

Can anyone confirm? Or provide another alternative?

38" stanchion width should mean that it's possible to mount it. It may require an intermediate plate or something. The COT wing mount will give you the best chance of lining something up.
