My daughter backed into the palmettos alongside our driveway.

How do I snap it back into place? Brute force, or is there a trick to it?

There is probably one screw in the wheel well that needs your attention and along the seam it just snaps into place. Sort of a "tab A into slot B" sort of snap in. Check to see if you've broken any tabs.

Mazda2?  Fiesta?

Was this above about correct?

After I loosened the inner fender liner, I didn't see any screws inside of it.  I loosened the screw under the hatch to give me enough flexibility to maneuver the bumper slots to engage with the tabs on the bumper bracket. None of them were broken, so nothing else was required.
