I was thinking that a C5 might be a reasonable substitute for an S2000.

 

I remember seeing a Quad 4 powered C4 a ways back.

NC miata is cheaper, lighter, and k power makes a kit to bolt a k24 into it.  

that being said; please build a c5 /w a honda engine it, and then proceed to take it to Corvette shows (and record the new balance and JORTS crowd reactions)

I want to see something like a 4 rotor wankel.

It's been done.

 

I wonder how expensive a C5 is compared to an NC once you upgrade the NC's chassis to C5 level.

 

I also wonder if a K24 would even fit under the hood.  The LS1/LS6 engines are very, very short and low.

I think I can buy a c5 cheaper than a NC around me. Or at least a NC you'd want for the new club spec one.
