That's a whole lot nicer than this quasi-convertible version... (I was not able to catch or pass this car, due to traffic, but would like to know more.)
I knew the guy that built that car. He had a beautiful 3.0CS as well. I always thought it was cool.
If I remember right the bed floor is a thick sheet of steel to help keep the tail from bouncing around. Something like that.
I'm the outcast - I don't like anything taken away from original. Yes, I know BMW built the cabriolet version. Not a fan! LOL
Nicely done, but windy and wet with no rear wall and it has no tailgate. Some may say sacrilege, but it's your car and you're allowed to do anything with it.

I wish it was that easy. I’m not being given a chance to say how our build is to be done on the forums. Someone somewhere has to be negative about what or how we did something or how something used without some sort of negative comment. Plus it doesn’t help when your comments are down vote then hidden afterwards. After all it is "My" "Our" Build.
Negativity not intended. I intended "your car, your build" and I'm sorry your didn't see it that way. Down vote and hidden afterwards? I just got 2 ups.

My comment was not directed towards you and there was nothing wrong with your comment. but the general audience of the forums. Several of my comments were down voted and then hidden, this granted the permission to delete them. So I did.

I hope that one day you will post what you want and just learn to ignore stuff that you don't agree with. It's really not that difficult.
