A local friend has had a Nissan Cube for a long time with the dreaded CVT. He bought it a few years used and has had it for like 8 years and 160k...yeah, on a CVT. He knows the CVT issues and is amazed himself. The car has been great for them otherwise and his wife uses it as the "kids to school hauler." Kid #1 will soon be driving and kid #2 a year after that. He'd like the kids to learn manual after they learn to drive on the Cube CVT. Keeping it all familiar, here enters the desire for a Cube w/ manual trans. They are rare, but they are out there. Once you take the CVT out of the equation, they are a small car with a spacious interior with typical Japanese reliability.
So, Nissan Cube in Sliver Springs, MD
Before a long distance purchase (potentially) I'm wondering if anyone is near to take the car out for a drive?
If you are willing, reply here and email me your phone number and I'll start a 3-way text with my buddy. ...jwelsh02...yahoo...
