Please report back after you purchase it!

Stylish, but not what you'd call aerodynamically helpful. OTOH, the (totally cool) yellow truck from Twister has a much smoother upper edge. Google images show both styles. What's up?
Its the standard roofline between the different model years, Ross's is a much older one. Plus, I'd be surprised if these could exceed 75mph anyways.....
And Ross, If I buy it, believe me there will be pictures posted of it. I just realized the guy is literally 11 miles away from me as well.....
Hey so do you guys want to see pics of my new J10? I got it from some dude in the Anderson, IN area.

LoL......you would too. But, I doubt it. You wouldn't like it anyways.
What makes you think i wouldn't like it? I fap to the all the Grand Wagoneers with the wood panels and the red crushed velvet interiors i find in the junkyards.

Stick to your XJ's.....lol
And quit trying to Jeepblock me....
Not to threadjack or anything but I just found this on the local CL and it is too cool not to share.
I think I would have a hard time choosing between this or a J10.

Is it bad that if I had won that $500 million dollar Powerball that the first car I would have bought is one of the insanely restored Wagonmaster Grand Wagoneers?!? I spend waaaaayyy too much time fantasizing at that site, and I can't even explain why.

Man after my own heart!

That's cool, but also over three times the asking price of the j10.....if I had $2500 in cash, id probably buy the j10 w/j20 running gear under it......that didn't really have any rust.
One of my local body shops just finished doing one up for a guy that swapped it onto a Dodge pickup frame. Yes, a frame with the Cummins TD bolted to it. You couldn't tell from the outside. Sorry I didn't take pics of it now.
Those full size jeep frames are quite a bit wider than your average pickup truck. When my dad did the axle swap on ours, all the mounting points on the axles had to be moved outward.
This is still for sale:

Wrong........it appears to have disappeared in 81 or 82.......the twister truck was an 82.
This one is an 80, and has the visor. This one is actually in haggard shape, but thankfully still savable as the frame, most of the body, and engine are good. I made a reasonable offer(that i can raise if necessary), and am just waiting to hear back from the owner who is on a fishing trip for the title. Hopefully ill have it by Tuesday, and teardown will begin over the weekend.
