I bought the General GMax RS for the wife's Infiniti M35x because they were quite affordable.
A bit noisy (expected), very grippy (expected), they wore really well (unexpected), were very decent in rain (very pleased), BUT - they would flat-spot sitting overnight and needed some drive time to warm up and go round.
I bought them again for my '61 Chevy Apache (turbocharged 6.0), and the grip is just wonderful, but again with the flat-spotting.
I likely won't buy them again.
I've got the Conti's on a C6 Z06 and really like them. I'm a pretty aggressive driver and their dry performance is great. I've yet to have them hydroplane in heavy rain. Deep puddles, or excessive speed..sure.
The problem I had with the Direzzas and Bridgestones is how noisy they become when they get some miles on them.....I'm not talking about worn out, but from about 5-7K on they just got louder and louder.
