My brother in-law is not a car guy and just had a CEL light up on his Dodge Avenger. He is in the south Cleveland area, I think he said "Baria" but I don't know if I actually got that entirely right because I can't seem to find it while Googling, but I am not from the area, so I can't help with his code or fixing it, and I don't know any shops out in his area.
Do you have a good trustworthy shop where he can take his Avenger?

I think he was talking about Berea which is just south of the Airport. I had a guy in the area but he just retired.
Yes! That is it! Wife confirmed Berea.
GRMer Pete works at Olmsted Auto Care just up the road from Berea, and I've never heard bad about that shop and when I delivered his toolboxes everyone was cool and the place was clean.

Auto Service Specialists in North Royalton might be somewhere to look into too. A GRM guy works there but his name escapes me.
They worked on our CRV and Odyssey recently. I was impressed

That is where Pete used to work and where he worked on my Montero. Same good work, now closer to home.

Is that to say Auto Service Specialists lost its touch or something? Still a good place too? Seems like Hondas were their bread and butter.
