Does anyone have a good micro squirt base tune for a 03 5.3 turbo on e85.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are some microsquirt tunes in the Sloppy Mechanics Tune Cabinet. None of them match your setup exactly, but one of them might be close enough to get you started.

I have found a lot of straight garbage in there, proceed with caution. I generally just use the firmware base file and update the trigger settings and reqfuel and that's better than a good amount of "tuned" files.

When you create a new project in tuner studio and go through the setup in order, tuner studio will provide "default" data in the tables. These tables have not failed to start for me.

What is really important is getting the ignition/triggering stuff right so you don't blow it up or set it on fire.

Using a "base tune" is a crap shoot, How many coils do you want to melt? Is it OK if gas runs out your tailpipe?

Very few installs will run well on the same MSQ, too many variables.

If you choose the settings yourself, you know what was set and why, no guessing.
