A good night's sleep and a last hot shower in a crappy motel, dead battery when we jumped in the truck, a quick jump and we are back on the road.

The wifey is having surgery today and I spent 5 days playing in the Smokies last weekend, so no Mitty for me this year. Safe travels everyone and have a blast.

I too will miss this year but, here's to hoping everyone has a great time.

About 2 hours from track. Ready for a beer. NordicSaab had a trailer blowout about an hour into GA and were able to catch up with him. A quick Huddle House cholesterol ingestion and we were back on the road.

I won't be getting there until Sunday, as I only live an hour away and am only going for the Concourse and skidpad challenge. But my teammate Mental will be there all weekend. Look for our truck.

I'm trying to duck work tomorrow to ride down at least for a day . . .
