A while ago I asked the question, and got some great feedback. The one truck I had very little interest in was S10. So what did I end up with?
Price was right, pretty beat down, most of the typical S10 problems....but
the unknown small block (supposedly 350 but who knows) under the hood was the deciding factor.
Now what to do with it.....
more to come once I have a chance to find out more about it-and get a water pump on it so I can drive it beyond the test drive burnout session
For those who, "don't want a S10", is the reason they made the S15.
Careful with the test drive burnout session if it isn't a total smogged out dog of a motor or still has some tiny S truck rear end (whatever the not 8.5" was) under it.
When you want to get lower and better handling, let me know. Kinda got a formula for that. ..

How do you figure? They're just different grills, badges and upholstery. Especially of that particular vintage.

Yeah but it's a bigger number, so it must be better! Wasn't the 15 just the GMC version of the 10?
beware of the ten bolt, some people have great luck but most people tend to grenade them with a v8. if its an auto and doesnt ever deadhook you may be ok!

Precisely.
Was expecting Daihatsu Hijets. Am disappointed.
