The new Fiat 500, I was really happy when I found out they were coming to the US...not when I found out it wasn't identical (inside) to the Euro models.

Warren "The Professor" Johnson schooled a lot of his Pro Stock rivals in a Cutlass bodied race car in the early 90's. i think that car might be the reason that particular version of the W body was so damn popular.

I had a few Buick hand me downs from family I used for DD/ work cars. LeSabres and Century. I liked the 3.8s and even the 3.3 was good. The ride spoiled me, I never felt beat up after a long drive. Only downside was buddies and co-workers sayin'... dude, you're drivin'... a Buick?

I have to admit my gazillion mile POS Century was a damn good car all things considered. I always wished it was a two door-those even had nice lines.
And since we're talking about GM cars that nobody loves but us weirdos:
Mine had black at the bottom and a factory 4-speed behind a Chevy 305. Wish I could have kept it.

Those occasionally came through the Buick dealer I worked for, actually a pretty cool looking car. Very Darth Vader-ish.
VW Fox wagon. Always had a thing for the 2-door wagons, even though I know these things were awful. Even the 4-speed manual is appealing for some reason. Never see them for sale around here though.

Oh God, the Pulsar NX! I forgot those existed, and yes, I thought those were really cool back when they were new.
'87 Ford Escort 5-spd sedan, liked it so much bought a '87 GT.... fun to drive n beat the livin' snot outta em, used to go through work cars like popcorn.
1993 Grand Am GT. When I was a kid, I thought those were the coolest cars. Now I realize they're only poorly-handling, unreliable, FWD crapcans with weird mufflers tuned to give them a bizarre exhaust note.
Only the wheels still catch my attention. Very clean design.
Coming in a close second: the 1992 Taurus SHO. I dislike unreliable cars as a rule, and, my god, what a dusey that one is:

Skoda 120 in Canada, Skoda Estelle in Europe. 1.3 OHV rear engine, RWD. It was a really fun car. I was going to swap a VW diesel motor in it, but gave up, and just bought a diesel Rabbit instead.
I've owned a bunch of the cars people have posted here, for better or worse.
Oh wow. I used to own a Toyota Van, though not as clean as this. I was in a very bad financial place, and needed a car. The Goodwill (no lie!) had one parked out front for $900. I talked them down to $400, and a deal was made. I drove it for the better part of a year, gave it nothing in return, then sold it for $200, and in need of a brake job.
I wish I'd kept it. Only vehicle I've ever owned with an ice maker.
PINTO: There was a time, that I'm sure a few of you remember, when Pintos dominated it's class in showroom stock. I wasn't crazy about them but I wanted one, BAD. I had decided that I was going to get a loan and buy one, equip it for safety, and go to driver's school. Fortunately for me, very unfortunately for the poor driver of a VW Rabbit, he had done the same thing and rolled it into a ball at his first race at Road Atlanta. I saw how sick he looked and decided that I didn't want to risk being in his predicament.
English Ford Anglia: I had a 61 model around 1968. It was in nearly perfect shape, very reliable, but I hated the looks of the greenhouse with the forward slanted rear window. I traded it for a 57 TR2 that, as it turned out, had a cracked head. Bad move! a few years ago I saw some clips of British sedan racing and those old Fords were giving Minis a fit on the track. They were super low, handled great, and sounded even better. Some ran wide steel wheels and some minilites. So now I'd love to have one set up like that for the street with a GT 1600 engine running webers, a mild cam, and a few other mods.
I'm a cheap S.O.B. and of the under $20K (when new) cars, I'm strongly considering a 3 door Yaris, even tho I've never driven one and all the car mags say they are a steaming pile. I want a small 3 door car like my old Fiesta, and while my brain says get a 5 door Fiesta and pretend the 2 back doors aren't there...it isn't really that easy. Thank you Ford for finally bringing the Fiesta back to N.A. and then skewing the production HEAVILY to 4 door (mini Taurus) sedans with automatic.
I drive a Civic at the moment, and would buy/drive a Fit if it didn't look like a toaster with wheels.
